Opus Bilprovning opens new station in Malmö

The company’s first inspection station in Malmö will open in January 2019.

Opus Bilprovning, a leader in Sweden’s vehicle inspection market, is about to open its first vehicle inspection station in the southern city of Malmö. The new station, at Segedalsvägen 5, Arlöv, which is due to open in January 2019, will take the total number of Opus Bilprovning stations to 90.

The new facility will offer inspections for passenger cars, light trucks up to 3500 kg, and motorcycles. As well as regular planned inspections, the station will offer a wide range of services such as vehicle tests, drive-in inspections, vehicle drop-off and collection, and customized services for businesses in Malmö.

Patrik Ronneback, Region Manager at Opus Bilprovning, says:

"We already have a strong station network of 89 inspection stations from Kiruna in the north to Helsingborg in the south, but we have never had any stations in the Malmö area. The new facility is therefore completely in line with our long-term strategy to become nationwide and available across the country. As the third largest city in Sweden, Malmö is clearly important both to Opus and our customers."
