The new state-of-the-art facilities opened in 2018 are in Melipilla in the Metropolitan region, Constitución in the Maule region and Rancagua and San Vicente in the O’Higgins region.

The four stations add to the three stations the company began operating in 2016-2017. During 2018, Opus won new concessions for four more stations in the regions of Arica and Valparaíso that are now being built in these areas and that are expected to open in 2019.

The expanded network will inspect more than 340,000 vehicles during 2019.

“We’re delighted with Opus’ expansion in Chile during 2018, bringing the benefits of our efficient, fair and accurate vehicle inspections to more towns and cities throughout Chile,” said Alfredo R Granai, President, Latin America. “We look forward to launching the four new facilities during 2019, thus becoming one of the three largest operators in the Chile vehicle inspection market.”
