Opus and VTV creating a strong platform for growth

Opus is continuing to grow and develop our business in Argentina, six months since acquiring Buenos Aires-based vehicle inspection businesses VTV Norte and VTV Metro.

Inspection volumes have increased overall in 2018, despite the country’s recent economic situation. And the VTV businesses are helping us improve service and systems across the region – in Argentina, Perú and in neighbouring Chile.

Fast, efficient inspection systems

“VTV Norte and VTV Metro are well run businesses, which offer fast, reliable inspection services, testing 500,000 vehicles a year,” explains Opus President, Latin America Alfredo R Granai.  “By combining their operations with Opus technology, we have created a highly efficient platform based on speedy reservations, excellent customer service and efficient payment and administration processes.”

Improving in Cordoba and Chile

“We’ve shared best practices with our concession in Cordoba, Argentina’s second largest city, improving the service we provide there. And it will help us get up and running quickly in any new concessions we may win in the future.”

VTV’s quality control experts are also helping Opus to achieve the ISO 9001 quality standard for our concessions in Chile, which will help Opus to grow our presence in that market during 2019 and beyond.
